John Shaw is a dedicated professional known for his exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence in the transportation and logistics industry. With a solid foundation in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University, John embarked on a fulfilling career path that has earned him widespread recognition and respect among his peers.


John's journey in the logistics sector began in 2009 when he obtained his Certified Transportation Broker License from the Transportation Intermediaries Association. He honed his skills as a freight broker at JB Hunt, where he quickly distinguished himself as a reliable and efficient professional. Building on this experience, John transitioned to Freight Cowboy in 2011, further expanding his expertise and industry knowledge.


In 2014, John joined DRT Transportation, where he held various operational roles, culminating in his appointment as Branch Manager. Over seven years of dedicated service, John played a pivotal role in the company's success, demonstrating exemplary leadership and strategic acumen.


In 2021, John brought his wealth of experience and leadership prowess to TLI, assuming the role of Broker Manager. In this capacity, he oversees critical brokerage operations, leveraging his extensive background to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.


John's stellar performance and unwavering dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed. In 2022, he was honored with the prestigious Employee of the Year award, a testament to his outstanding contributions and the high regard in which he is held by his colleagues. John's collaborative spirit, passion for excellence, and personable demeanor make him a valued member of any team.


Outside of his professional endeavors, John is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys spending quality time with his family. His genuine camaraderie and positive attitude make him not only a respected leader but also a trusted friend and mentor to those fortunate enough to work alongside him.
