This notice provides Translogistics Inc.'s policy regarding the nature, purpose, use, and sharing of any information collected via this Web Site. All references to "TLI" made herein shall be references to and include Translogistics Inc, and each of their directors, officers, employees, and authorized representative ("Translogistics Inc"). As used herein, all references to "Web Site" may include, individually, all and/or in any combination, TRANSLOGISTICSINC.COM, BLOG.TRANSLOGISTICSINC.COM, and VP.TRANSLOGISTICSINC.COM. The information you provide on a TLI Web Site will be used only for its intended purpose. Submitting information is strictly voluntary. By doing so, you are giving TLI your permission to use the information for the intended purpose. If you do not want to give TLI permission to use your information, simply do not provide it. However, not providing certain information may result in TLI’s inability to provide you with the information or services you desire.
 
TLI never collects information for third party commercial marketing purposes nor does it create individual profiles or provide your information to any third party organization. TLI will only share your information with third parties (CRM Host) to provide TLI services and as you request or as otherwise required by law.
 
 

PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT:


TLI collects and temporarily stores certain technical information about your visit for use in site management and security purposes. This information includes:


  1. The Internet domain from which you access our Web Site (for example, "xyzcompany.com" if you use a private Internet access account, or "yourschool.edu" if you connect from an educational domain);
  2. The type of browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer) used to access our site;

The data we collect depends on the Services and features thereof that you use, and includes the following:


Name and contact data

We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.


Credentials

We process passwords and related security information used for authentication and account access and information security purposes.

Payment data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument. We use third party payment processors to assist in securely processing your payment information. If you pay with a credit card, the payment information that you provide through the Services is encrypted and transmitted directly to the PAYPAL Payment Processor. We do not store your payment information and do not control and are not responsible for Payment Processors or its collection or use of your information. Job application data

We collect information regarding your employment history, resume, references, education, and other information to help us evaluate you for employment with TLI if you fill out a form fill.


Chat session data

 If you use the Chat Feature of the Services to chat with a customer service representative we will have access to a transcript of the chat session. We use information provided though the Chat Feature to provide you with customer assistance accountability.

We use third party vendor HUBSPOT to provide the Chat Feature. The information you provide through the Chat Feature is collected by and stored on the 3rd party vendor's. systems. We do not control and are not responsible for our vendor or its collection or use of your information.

Usage data. We collect personalized information about your use of our Services, to better understand uses thereof and identify potential improvements, as well as to send you promotional communications or offers tailored to your use of our Services and interest thereto.


Examples include:

·       Information on the web pages you visit on and off our website and the search terms you enter on our website.

·       Information regarding the performance of our Services and any problems you may experience while using them. This information enables us to diagnose problems and offer support in resolution.

DATA USAGE:


TLI uses information that we collect from customers and visitors for the purposes of:

·       Providing ongoing support;

·       Communicating with you, including promotional communications and customer relationship management (“CRM”);

DATA SHARING:


Third-party tools are essential for many purposes, including content optimization, lead generation, customer service, site analytics, and freight tendering. TLI relies on third-party tools that collect personal information from users. For example if a shipment is scheduled into the TMS, the pickup and delivery information will be provided to the carrier for routing instructions. If there is concern about data being provided to a third party, please be sure to not provide the confidential data to TLI to begin with.


CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT (“CCPA”) NOTICE:


TLI does not sell personal information.


TLI offers and provides the Services to business only. All data collected through and used in connection with the Services are collected from individuals who are acting as an employee, owner, director, officer, or contractor of a business. Prior to January 1, 2021, pursuant to Section 8 of Chapter 757 of the 2019 session laws of California (enacting Assembly Bill No. 1355) (amending 1798.145(l)(1) of the California Civil Code), Sections 1798.100 , 1798.105, 1798.110, 1798.115, 1798.130, and 1798.135 of the California Civil Code regarding California consumer rights do not apply to the personally identifiable information we collect from you. We continually review developments to the CCPA regarding our current obligations and any obligations we may have after January 1, 2021.


CHILDREN’S PRIVACY:


Services ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to use the Services. The Services are not directed to or intended for use by minors. MARKETING:


If you have provided us with your contact information, we may, subject to any applicable Spam Act or similar regulation, contact you via e-mail, postal mail or telephone about TLI products, services and events that may be of interest to you, including our newsletter.

E-mail communications you receive from TLI will generally provide an unsubscribe link allowing you to opt-out of receiving future e-mail or to change your contact preferences. Please remember that even if you opt out of receiving marketing emails, we may still send you important Service information related to your accounts and subscriptions.

TLI may share Personal Data if TLI is involved in a merger, sale, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, bankruptcy or other change of ownership or control (in whole or in part). TLI requires that the shared personal data remain subject to the promises made in the then-current Privacy Policy, unless and until you agree to a new privacy terms.


We will access, disclose and preserve personal data when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to:

Unauthorized access to password-protected or secure areas is prohibited and may lead to criminal prosecution. We may suspend your use of all or part of the Services without notice if we suspect or detect any breach of security. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TLI will provide any such notice that TLI must provide to you at your account’s email address. In an effort to protect personal information from security breaches access to sensitive personal information is limited to those workers and service providers who have a need to access the information to perform tasks for TLI. Sensitive personal information is only disclosed to third parties in accordance with TLI established privacy and security policy.


TLI will only disclose sensitive information to (1) service providers, auditors, advisors, successors in interest who are legally or contractually obligated to protect them, or (2) as required by law.


CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY:


We may update this Privacy Policy based upon evolving Laws, regulations, and industry standards, or as we may make changes to our business including our Services. We will post changes to our Privacy Policy on this page and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy when you use our Services to stay informed.
