Scott McDevitt, President/CEO

Scott McDevitt started his career in the transportation industry with Roadway Express in 1988. He spent a year in operations and then moved on to becoming a very successful sales representative, winning numerous awards and achievements for his hard work and strong customer relationships. In 1994, Scott started Translogistics Inc. in order to satisfy the unique needs that the transportation industry brings. His mission is to provide World Class Customer Service as well as innovative technology to meet the demands of the customer.

While his business and leadership skills are an integral part of TLI, Scott invests a great deal of his efforts to solidify a business known for its Trust, Loyalty, and Integrity. Above all, Translogistics Inc. seeks to glorify God and to reflect this through personal, professional, and courteous service.

Scott resides in Exeter, PA with his wife Wendy and 5 children. In his free time he enjoys fishing, hiking, and hunting with his kids and watching Eagles games most Sundays. He also enjoys reading self-improvement books and is involved in a variety of world missions.


Joseph McDevitt, Director of Sales

Joseph began his work with TLI nearly ten years ago in the operations department.  After six years of developing expertise in operations, Joseph joined the sales team as a hunter.  After years of sustained success in sales, Joseph was promoted to Director of Sales.  Joseph has been managing the inside sales team and outside sales team, with each delivering great results for TLI.  He continually drives initiatives within the department to capture additional revenue for the company.

Joseph is a logistics industry expert and keeps his clients informed of overall economic conditions.  He has three degrees ranging from economics to marketing, and recently acquired his Master’s in Business Administration.  Joseph is a family man and spends his free time camping, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traveling globally, trading equities, playing chess, and reading.


Ben McDevitt, Director of IT/Marketing

Ben currently oversees IT/Marketing and joined the team right out of high school in 2010. While still working full time he went to night school at Berks Technical Institute to get his associates degree in networking. As TLI’s Director of IT, he puts systems, tools and processes in place to support the unique challenges of day-to-day business and meet the customers’ needs beyond expectation. He is responsible for maintaining the ViewPoint infrastructure and various other systems. He also works with clients troubleshooting reported problems.

In his spare time he enjoys time with family, playing golf, paintball, or the famous computer game “Eve Online”.

Rick Poulos, Director of Operations

Rick Poulos is an executive with more than four decades of progressive experience directing and managing operations, logistics, sales, safety and administrative functions within the transportation industry.  Demonstrated record of achievement in increasing operations efficiency and sales volume. Expertise in compliance with regulations issued by DOT, OSHA, EPA and other agencies. Skilled labor negotiator, personnel manager, team builder and contract administrator.

Hobbies include: Sports cars, extreme auto detailing, golf and college football.


Dave Demers, Senior Operations Manager

A well known veteran in the industry with over 35 years of warehousing, transportation, and brokerage experience. Dave served the Northeast for over 20 years and worldwide for the last 15. Demonstrated experience with assets, brokerage, warehousing, international, and rail. Dave is always up to date on the industry, the current market and how we can always raise the bar here at TLI to provide our customers with the best service possible. Asked what he likes most about the industry Dave’s response is, “The ever changing fast paced environment”.

Dave has been married for 31 years, has 3 kids and 5 grandchildren. In his free time he enjoys fishing, hiking and spending time with his grandkids.


Peter Rio, Director of Logistics

Peter Rio was drawn to Translogistics Inc. in 2011 because of the company’s unique “technology and value-add” business model and Christian environment the company provides.  As TLI’s Director of Logistics, he leads a skilled team of logistics professionals in the day-to-day operations and focuses on continuous improvement efforts in the areas of customer satisfaction, carrier relations, and advanced contract management.  Technology innovation, improving efficiencies through data analysis, and selling the value of TMS technology to secure new business are also just part of the value Peter brings to the TLI team.
 
Outside of work, Peter enjoys racing motocross, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.

Holly Vining, HR/Accounting Manager

Holly Vining joined Translogistics in 2009 as part of the Accounting team.  Holly is now the Accounting Manager, using her public accounting, as well as corporate, experience to lead the day-to-day financial functions of the company.  She manages many functions, including client collections, out-going carrier payments, and employee benefits.

Holly resides in East Coventry with her husband, Barry, and their daughter; she also has a son who lives in Pittsburgh.   She is the treasurer for her church, and in her free time, she enjoys cooking and watching sporting events.
