Scott McDevitt, President

Scott McDevitt started his career in the transportation industry with Roadway Express in 1988. He spent a year in operations and then moved on to becoming a very successful sales representative, winning numerous awards and achievements for his hard work and strong customer relationships. In 1994, Scott started Translogistics Inc. in order to satisfy the unique needs that the transportation industry brings. His mission is to provide World Class Customer Service as well as innovative technology to meet the demands of the customer.

While his business and leadership skills are an integral part of TLI, Scott invests a great deal of his efforts to solidify a business known for its Trust, Loyalty, and Integrity. Above all, Translogistics Inc. seeks to glorify God and to reflect this through personal, professional, and courteous service.

Scott resides in Birdsboro, PA with his wife Wendy and 5 children. In his free time he enjoys fishing, hiking, and hunting with his kids and watching Eagles games most Sundays. He also enjoys reading self-improvement books and is involved in a variety of world missions.

Tim Thomas, Director of IT

Tim Thomas started with Translogistics Inc. in 2002 to fulfill the growing technological needs of the transportation industry.  As TLI’s Director of IT, he puts systems, tools and processes in place to support the unique challenges of day-to-day business and meet the customers’ needs beyond expectation. 
Tim loves the technological challenges that the transportation industry has and takes pride in solving those needs, whether it is for an employee or a customer, with a fun and easy to use solution.  As the lead architect and designer of ViewPoint, TLI’s new TMS software, Tim has been able to marry the complicated world of logistics management into a clean, easy to use software package.  He firmly believes that well written, exciting software makes the user more productive, feel more valuable, and gives them a better sense of satisfaction by giving them the tools they need to get their job done.
Tim resides in Pottstown, Pa with his wife Stacy and two children.  He enjoys spending time with his family and playing with gadgets and tech gear, and also leads a group of volunteers for his church sound and video crew.

Peter Rio, Director of Operations

Peter Rio was drawn to Translogistics Inc. in 2011 because of the company’s unique “technology and value-add” business model and Christian environment the company provides.  As TLI’s Director of Operations, he leads a skilled team of logistics professionals in the day-to-day operations and focuses on continuous improvement efforts in the areas of logistics, audit, and customer service.  Technology innovation, improving efficiencies through data analysis, and selling the value of TMS technology to secure new business are all part of the transportation industry that he loves most.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys racing motocross, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
